Recorded infrequently through accidental importation, possible as pupae in cork from Portugal, this southern Europe species has been recorded just once in Britain, in Epping Forest in April 2002. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 18-19 mm. Larva feeds on flowers and leaves of Evergreen Oak and Cork Oak.
